Sometimes the German army had a rule that once a vehicle has received authorization to begin serial production, the more it does not perform the test until the arrival of serial copies in the unit. The British Army had a much different approach because of the continued testing of prototypes, and serial predserijskih copies before the first vehicles came to the end user (the crew in the unit). This rigorous testing called the Reliability Growth Trials (RGT) and their goal was to ensure the elimination of all identified deficiencies before the vehicle went into operational use.
