Afghan Commandos killed/detained 9 Taliban militants

The raids have been conducted in Farah, Ghazni and Helmand provinces

The members of Afghan Special Forces have killed or detained 9 Taliban militants and destroyed caches of weapons in three different raids in Farah, Ghazni and Helmand provinces, according to Khaama Press.

The Afghan senior military officials said Wednesday the Special Forces operators killed 8 Taliban militants during an operation in Bala Baluk district of Farah. The officials further added that the Special Forces arrested a Taliban militant during a raid in Qarah Bagha district of Ghazni.

Furthermore, the officials said the Special Forces have located and destroyed a cache of weapons during the same raid. Another cache of weapons has been found in another raid in Nad Ali district of Helmand.
