Two Americans and one British soldier killed in Iraq

Two Americans, one British soldier and more than 12 wounded is an aftermath of rocket attack on Iraqi base, where U.S. and coallition troops are based.

The American military has confirmed, in a released statement, that an American and British soldier alongside an American contractor were killed in a rocket attack.

The three men were killed on Camp Taji base as 18 Katyusha rockets slammed into the base on Wednesday at 1935 hours local time. Camp Taji hosts U.S. and coalition personnel for training and advising missions.

Their names will not be released pending notification of next of kin.

At least 12 personnel were wounded during the attack, the statement added.
