Somali pirates engage US cruiser ship with private security onboard

Robbery and piracy in the Indian Ocean have been a danger to worldwide transportation in the last fifteen years.

Since 2005, numerous governments have communicated concern over the increase in incidents of piracy. Piracy has blocked the transport of shipments and increased dispatching costs, costing an estimated $6.9 billion a year in worldwide trade, as indicated by the Oceans Beyond Piracy organisation.
