In today’s modern battlefield, soldiers must have dependable communication systems that ensure their safety and success. INVISIO, a Swedish company specializing in mission-critical communication solutions, recently unveiled its latest creation – the INVISIO V60 Gen II ADP. This high-tech push-to-talk (PTT) and warfighter hub is engineered to connect audio, data, and power, resulting in more versatility and efficiency while minimizing the number of devices that dismounted soldiers must carry.

INVISIO V60 Gen II ADP

The INVISIO V60 Gen II ADP is a customizable system that improves on earlier versions of the INVISIO V-Series. It has the same features as the INVISIO V-Series Gen II, including excellent double hearing protection and the ability to hear through. It also adjusts the volume automatically based on surrounding sound levels. The V60 II ADP utilizes AI and digital signal processing to remove noise and enhance speech clarity by 30%, critical factors for improving situational awareness and reducing exhaustion.

The V60 II ADP is MIL-SPEC compliant and has been proven to withstand extreme environments, from high altitudes and low temperatures to extreme heat. It is also fully submersible to 20m for two hours, making it an ideal solution for dismounted soldiers operating in challenging environments.

The V60 II ADP offers the following:

  • The ultimate warfighter hub: Bridging audio, data, and power for more capabilities with fewer devices
  • Reduced burden: Less cables, devices, less weight, and less complexity
  • Rugged and combat proved: MIL-SPEC compliant and proven by SOF globally.
  • Mission adaptive: Volume from received audio is automatically adjusted to the surrounding sound level.
  • Flexible and intuitive: Limitless configurations, making Gen II suitable for all scenarios, and VOX functionality and voice prompts for intuitive operations.
  • INVISIO Audio™: AI and digital signal processing to filter out the noise and increase speech intelligibility by 30 percent.
  • Market-leading hearing protection: Increased protection levels and the option of double hearing protection with hear-through at a market-leading 42 dB SNR / 34 dB NNR attenuation.

Audio and Data Integration

The latest innovation from INVISIO is the V60 II ADP, which significantly advances mission-critical communication solutions for dismounted soldiers. Bridging audio and data provides a more agile communication solution by delivering audio cues from an End User Device (EUD) to a headset. Moreover, the V60 II ADP reduces complexity by distributing power to EUDs or other devices, simplifying the number of cables and devices carried by soldiers. The V60 II ADP’s modular design provides flexibility on the ground, catering to various power requirements and situational demands. With a unique interface between data and audio, the V60 II ADP offers a swift, flexible, and data-driven solution to dismounted troops, enhancing their situational awareness and reducing fatigue.

User-Friendly Design

The V60 II ADP from INVISIO has been carefully crafted with user feedback in mind. The company has considered customer requirements and incorporated them into the new system. Intending to reduce the burden on dismounted soldiers, the V60 II ADP provides fewer devices, fewer cables, and flexible, integrated systems that make communication easier in any environment.

INVISIO’s digitalization of traditional systems continues its ongoing work to modernize communications in the battlefield. The latest addition to our range of tactical communication systems bridges the gap between audio and data, creating a fast, agile, and data-driven solution for dismounted troops on the ground. We have listened to feedback from our customers on what users need, which is reduced burden – fewer devices, fewer cables, and flexible, integrated systems that make communication easier than ever, no matter their environment. The result is the V60 II ADP. This will have a hugely positive impact for our customers and marks the next step in the digitalization of battlefield communication.
